We decided to take off to Monterey this weekend. It was a spur of the moment decision, but it ended up being really fun. As soon as we arrived we headed to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. There was a huge line, but we soon calculated our admission cost for our family and realized we were going to be paying the same price for a yearly admission membership. So, we hurried and switched to the shorter "members only line", and got in pretty quick. This means we can return anytime the upcoming year. Anyone want to come and visit us? We'll take you to Monterey! There were tons of people and it was really hard to see all the exibits. But, with our membership we were able to return the next morning and enter a half-hour before the public entered. We practically had the whole aquarium to ourselves! That was very enjoyable!
Monday morning, after our second visit to the aquarium, we went down to the beach. The kids had fun playing in the sand and climbing on the rocks.
