Folsom Mustangs win the Pumpkin Classic Tournament!

Marysville, CA- The Folsom Mustangs won their Fourth Consecutive Tournament this season. The Mustangs defeated the Rocklin Sockers in the Championship game 2-0, earning them the coveted Pumpkin Classic Hardware. The previous games included wins over Azzurri Nightmares 2-0, Sierra Gold Wildcats 3-0 and Chico Cal Lil Rebels 3-0.
The Mustangs started the tournament sluggishly but gained momentum as the tournament progressed. Much of the credit can be given to the stingy defense of the Mustangs, outstanding goalkeeping and an assertive offense. This year's game was a rematch of last years championship game in which the Sockers won the tournament on penalty kicks.
